Bio
Scott A. Schwartzberg, Esquire’s practice focuses almost exclusively on Federal and State tax controversy matters. He is a partner in the law firm Levy, Mann, Caplan, Hermann, Schwartzberg & Polashuk LLP, where he represents individuals and businesses in all phases of tax controversies and litigation with the Internal Revenue Service and State taxing authorities including audits, appeals, administrative procedures, and in litigation in various State and Federal Courts. Scott works with his clients to develop strategies to resolve their tax issues and then implements those strategies to obtain the desired result.
Scott has published articles in the area of Federal taxation and has been designated as an expert witness in the area of Federal and State Tax Procedures. He has been selected numerous times as a “Maryland Super Lawyer.” Scott is currently the Vice Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Section of Taxation and is the former Chair of the Legal Education Committee. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
